EZCC Service Warranty on parts and labor
Yes, we replace ball joints where the car is parked
The technician brings the ball joint or related assembly to your home or office. They replace the ball joint, refit the steering knuckle and control arm hardware, and do the complimentary multipoint visual inspection. The price includes parts, labor and the EZCC Service Warranty.
Not sure it is the ball joint?
A ball joint replacement appointment is a repair appointment. It does not include testing or troubleshooting. If you are not sure the ball joint is the problem, book Diagnose Unusual Sounds instead. The technician finds the cause and quotes the repair.
Is it the ball joint? Signs to watch for
- The front end clunks when you drive over bumps or dips.
- A popping noise comes from the front suspension when turning into a driveway.
- The steering feels loose or wanders on the road.
- The car pulls to the side even after the tires are aired up.
- A front tire wears unevenly on the inner or outer edge.
- The front of the car feels unstable during braking.
- A creak comes from the wheel area while turning at low speed.
- The steering wheel shakes more over rough pavement.
- A front tire looks tilted compared with the other side.
Ball joint, tie rod or wheel bearing?
A ball joint lets the steering knuckle pivot while the suspension moves up and down. When it wears, the front end can clunk, pop, wander, and wear a tire unevenly. A tie rod problem is more about loose steering and toe wear. A wheel bearing usually makes a hum or growl that changes with road speed.
What happens if you wait
A worn ball joint keeps getting looser. The wheel angle changes as the suspension moves, so the tire wears faster and the steering feels less steady. If the looseness gets severe, the steering knuckle can move out of place and the car may not be safe to drive.

What it costs, and how the price is set
Ball Joint Replacement is priced for your car on the written estimate. The price depends on the year, make, model, suspension layout, the ball joint position, and whether the joint is pressed into the control arm or supplied with another part. It includes parts and labor, replacing the ball joint or joints, the complimentary multipoint visual inspection, and the EZCC 12-Month / 12,000-Mile Service Warranty.
Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace the ball joint in my parking garage?
+
Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.
Will Ball Joint Replacement fix my clunk?
+
If the clunk is from a loose ball joint, replacing it should remove that noise. A clunk can also come from sway bar links, struts, tie rods, control arm bushings, or mounts, so book Diagnose Unusual Sounds if the cause is not known.
Can you replace tie rods or sway bar links at the same visit?
+
Yes, when they are on the approved estimate. Add Tie Rod Replacement or Sway Bar Link Replacement to your request so the technician brings the parts for the approved work. Work not on the estimate is quoted for a later visit.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
+
Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.
How do I pay?
+
EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.
What does the ball joint warranty cover?
+
The EZCC Service Warranty on the ball joint is 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.
Do I need an alignment after Ball Joint Replacement?
+
Most cars need a wheel alignment after a steering or suspension part is replaced. EZ Car Clinic does not perform wheel alignments at the mobile visit, so plan for an alignment after Ball Joint Replacement.
Do ball joints come with the control arm?
+
Some vehicles use a ball joint that is riveted, pressed, or built into the control arm. In that case the written estimate may list Control Arm Replacement or the correct assembly instead of a separate ball joint.
How long does a ball joint replacement take?
+
Usually one to three hours. It depends on the vehicle's year, make, model, engine layout, suspension design, where the ball joint sits, and whether the joint is bolted in, pressed into the control arm, or part of a larger assembly.
Do I need to be there?
+
Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.
Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?
+
No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.
Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.
If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
+
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.
