EZCC Service Warranty on parts and labor
Yes, we replace sway bar links where the car is parked
The technician brings the parts for the repair to your home or office and replaces the sway bar link or links where the car is parked. They secure the link at the sway bar and suspension mount, refit any access parts, and do the complimentary multipoint visual inspection. The price includes parts, labor and the EZCC Service Warranty.
Not sure it is the sway bar link?
A sway bar link replacement appointment is a repair appointment. It does not include testing or troubleshooting. If you are not sure the sway bar link is the problem, book Diagnose Unusual Sounds instead. The technician finds the cause and quotes the repair.
Is it the sway bar link? Signs to watch for
- A clunk comes from the front suspension over small bumps.
- A rattle shows up on broken pavement but fades on smooth roads.
- The noise is worse when the body rocks side to side, such as turning into a driveway.
- You hear a knock when crossing speed bumps at an angle.
- The car feels looser in quick lane changes.
- The steering wheel feels normal, but the body roll feels more noticeable.
- The link area has torn rubber boots or a loose ball-and-socket joint.
- A metallic tap comes from near a wheel when the sway bar moves.
- The noise quiets down on straight, smooth highway driving.
- A recent suspension repair did not stop a small-bump clunk.
Sway bar link, strut, or control arm?
A sway bar link connects the sway bar to the suspension. When the link joint or bushing wears out, the sway bar can knock as the left and right wheels move at different angles. A strut noise is more tied to up-and-down movement. A control arm or ball joint noise can come with looseness, tire wear, or a change in how the wheel sits.
What happens if you wait
A worn sway bar link usually gets louder as the joint gets looser. If the link separates, the sway bar cannot control body roll the way it should on that corner. The car may lean more in turns, and loose hardware can beat against nearby suspension parts.

What it costs, and how the price is set
Sway Bar Link Replacement is priced for your car on the written estimate. The price depends on your vehicle's year, make and model, the corner being repaired, and whether the link is at the front or rear. It includes the sway bar link or links, parts and labor, replacing the link or links, the complimentary multipoint visual inspection, and the EZCC 12-Month / 12,000-Mile Service Warranty.
Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace the sway bar link in my parking garage?
+
Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.
Do sway bar links need to be replaced in pairs?
+
Not always. The written estimate may cover the driver side, passenger side, front, rear, or multiple corners. At the appointment, the technician replaces only the link or links on the approved estimate.
Do I need an alignment after sway bar link replacement?
+
A sway bar link does not set wheel alignment, so an alignment is not part of this service. If other suspension or steering parts are also being replaced, alignment needs can be different.
How long does a sway bar link replacement take?
+
Usually about an hour. It depends on your vehicle's year, make, model, whether the link is front or rear, how the hardware comes apart, and how much access there is at that wheel.
Do I need to be there?
+
Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.
Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?
+
No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.
Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.
If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
+
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.
Will sway bar link replacement fix a clunk over bumps?
+
It will fix that noise when the sway bar link is the cause. If you are not sure, book Diagnose Unusual Sounds instead of a repair.
Is a sway bar link the same as a sway bar?
+
No. The sway bar is the long bar that helps limit body roll. The sway bar link is the short connector between that bar and the suspension.
Can you replace front or rear sway bar links?
+
Yes, when that location is on the approved estimate. Add the front or rear, driver side or passenger side, to your request so it is quoted before the visit.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
+
Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.
How do I pay?
+
EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.
What does the sway bar link warranty cover?
+
The EZCC Service Warranty on the sway bar link is 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.
