Oil change reminder or warning light?
An oil change reminder means the car is asking for scheduled maintenance. A red oil pressure light, a low oil pressure warning, or a check engine light is different. Those warnings point to a fault, not just old oil, so book a diagnostic if that is what you see.
What happens if you wait
Engine oil carries heat and dirt away from moving parts. As it ages, it thickens and the filter loads up with debris. Waiting too long lets dirty oil run through timing parts, bearings, and turbo parts on engines that have them.

What it costs, and how the price is set
Oil Change Package is priced for your car on the written estimate. Your estimate depends on your car's oil capacity, oil type, and filter access. It includes parts and labor, changing the engine oil and filter, resetting the maintenance light, the complimentary multipoint visual inspection, and the 90-day / 3,000-mile EZCC Service Warranty.
Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.
Warranty
90 days / 3,000 miles on the engine oil and filter and the workmanship, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.

Can you replace the engine oil and filter in my parking garage?

Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.
Is a red oil light fixed by an Oil Change Package?

No. A red oil pressure light is not a maintenance reminder. If that light is on, book Diagnose / Troubleshoot instead.
Does Oil Change Package include the oil filter?

Yes. The technician replaces the engine oil and the oil filter during the same appointment.
How long does an Oil Change Package take?

Usually about an hour. It depends on the year, make, model, engine, oil capacity, and where the oil filter sits.
Do I need to be there?

Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.
Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?

No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.
Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.
If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.
Can I cancel or reschedule?

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.
What kind of oil do you use for my car?

The estimate is based on the oil your engine calls for and the filter for your car (we usually use synthetic or higher grade engine oil). Give EZ Car Clinic the year, make, model, and engine so the right oil amount can be quoted.
Can you do an Oil Change Package if my car is leaking oil?

If the car only needs scheduled oil service, book Oil Change Package. If the oil spot is the reason for the visit, book Diagnose Fluid Leak because an oil leak needs a diagnostic appointment.
Does Oil Change Package include resetting the maintenance light?

Yes. The technician resets the maintenance light after the engine oil and filter are replaced.
Can I get a same-day appointment?

Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.
How do I pay?

EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.
