General Auto Repair is for known work that does not fit one of the regular repair pages. The technician comes to your home or office with the parts and supplies for the approved repair, then replaces, refits, reconnects, fills, bleeds or adjusts what the estimate covers. The price includes parts, labor and the EZCC Service Warranty.

A general auto repair appointment is a repair appointment for work you already know. It does not include testing or troubleshooting. If you only know the symptom, book Diagnose / Troubleshoot instead. The technician finds the cause and quotes the repair.
Is General Auto Repair the right booking? Signs to watch for
- Another shop already told you which part needs to be replaced.
- You have a clear repair request, but the service is not listed on a specific EZ Car Clinic page.
- A hose, bracket, mount, pulley, sensor or small engine part needs replacement.

General Auto Repair or a diagnostic?
Book General Auto Repair when the repair is already known. That can come from a prior repair order, a shop recommendation, or a clear part failure that has already been identified. If you only know the symptom, such as a warning light, a noise, a smell, a leak, overheating, poor running or a no-start, book the matching diagnostic instead.
What happens if you wait
A known worn or broken part can put extra load on the parts around it. A leaking hose can drop the fluid level. A worn suspension or steering part can make the tires wear unevenly. A sticking brake part can overheat the brake at that wheel. Doing the known repair before it spreads can keep the job smaller.

What it costs, and how the price is set
General Auto Repair is priced for your car on the written estimate. The price depends on the repair requested, the parts needed, and how the part sits in your year, make, model and engine. It includes parts and labor for the approved repair, and the EZCC Service Warranty.
Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.
Warranty
12 months / 12,000 miles on the repair and the workmanship, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.

Can you do the repair in my parking garage?

Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.
What if I only know the symptom?

Book a diagnostic instead. If the car has a warning light, noise, smell, leak, overheating problem, poor running issue or no-start, the technician needs to find the cause before a repair can be quoted.
Do you remove broken bolts, weld, or do body repair?

No. Broken or stripped bolt removal, welding, and collision or body repair are not offered under General Auto Repair.
Can I get a same-day appointment?

Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.
How do I pay?

EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.
What does the repair warranty cover?

The EZCC Service Warranty on the repair is 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.
What repairs fit under General Auto Repair?

Can I add another repair to the same visit?

Yes, when it is on the approved estimate. Add the extra repair to your request so it can be quoted with General Auto Repair. Work not on the estimate is quoted for a later visit.
How long does a General Auto Repair take?

Usually about an hour. It depends on your year, make, model and engine, the repair requested, where the part sits, and whether fluid filling, bleeding or adjustment is part of the approved work.
Do I need to be there?

Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.
Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?

No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.
Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.
If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.
Can I cancel or reschedule?

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.
