Fuel Injector Replacement at Your Home or Office

The engine is misfiring, idling rough, smelling like fuel, or running poorly after a fuel injector failure has been found. An experienced mobile mechanic comes to your home or office across Northern Virginia, nearby Maryland and Washington, DC, and replaces the fuel injectors where the car is parked. EZCC Service Warranty on parts and labor

Yes, we replace fuel injectors where the car is parked

The technician brings the fuel injectors and replaces them at your home or office. They clear related trouble codes and do a complimentary multipoint visual inspection. The price includes parts, labor and the EZCC Service Warranty.

Not sure it is the fuel injector?

A fuel injector replacement appointment is a repair appointment. It does not include testing or troubleshooting. If you are not sure the fuel injector is the problem, book Diagnose Check Engine Light instead. The technician finds the cause and quotes the repair.

Is it the fuel injector? Signs to watch for

  • The engine shakes at idle after a fuel injector fault has already been found.
  • The Check Engine light is on with a misfire tied to fuel delivery.
  • The exhaust smells like raw fuel after startup.
  • The engine cranks longer than normal before it starts.
  • The car stumbles when you press the gas from a stop.
  • The idle goes up and down while the car is in park.
  • Fuel mileage dropped because the engine is not metering fuel correctly.
  • The engine runs rough when cold, then smooths out as it warms up.
  • A cylinder is dead or weak because its injector is stuck, clogged, or leaking.

Fuel injector, spark plug, or ignition coil?

A fuel injector controls the fuel going into the engine. A spark plug and ignition coil control the spark that lights that fuel. When any of them fails, the car can shake, misfire, and turn on the Check Engine light. If the cause is not already known, start with Diagnose Check Engine Light instead of replacing parts.

What happens if you wait

A bad fuel injector can make the engine run too rich or too lean. Too much fuel can leave raw fuel in the exhaust and hurt the catalytic converter. Too little fuel can make that part of the engine run hot and rough. Waiting can turn a small fuel delivery problem into damage to other parts.

What it costs, and how the price is set

Fuel Injector Replacement is priced for your car on the written estimate. The price depends on your vehicle's year, make, model, engine, injector type, and how much must come off to reach the fuel rail. It includes the fuel injectors, parts and labor, clearing related trouble codes, the complimentary multipoint visual inspection, and the EZCC 12-Month / 12,000-Mile Service Warranty.

Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you replace the fuel injector in my parking garage?

+

Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.

Should I replace spark plugs with fuel injectors?

+

Spark Plugs Replacement can be done at the same visit when it is on the approved estimate. Add it to your request so the technician brings the parts for the approved work. Work not on the estimate is quoted for a later visit.

Can a bad fuel injector cause a Check Engine light?

+

Yes. A stuck, clogged, or leaking injector can set misfire or fuel trim codes and turn on the Check Engine light. If you do not already know the injector is at fault, book Diagnose Check Engine Light first.

How long does a fuel injector replacement take?

+

Usually one to three hours. It depends on the vehicle's year, make, model, engine, where the injectors sit, and how much intake or fuel rail access is needed.

Do I need to be there?

+

Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.

Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?

+

No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.

Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.

If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

+

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.

Can you replace a single fuel injector?

+

Yes, when Single Fuel Injector is the option on your approved estimate. Some engines use sets by bank or need all injectors replaced together, so the written estimate names the scope before the visit.

Can you replace ignition coils at the same visit?

+

Yes, when Ignition Coil Replacement is on the approved estimate. Add it to your request before approval, and the technician brings the parts listed on that estimate.

Do you clear the code after Fuel Injector Replacement?

+

Yes, clearing related trouble codes is included. If the light returns because another fault is present, that needs a diagnostic appointment.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

+

Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.

How do I pay?

+

EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.

What does the fuel injector warranty cover?

+

The EZCC Service Warranty on the fuel injector is 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.
