EZCC Service Warranty on parts and labor

Yes, we replace oil cooler lines where the car is parked

The technician brings the oil cooler line and replaces it at your home or office. They route the line the same way, secure the fittings and retainers, and top off fluid if required by the repair. The price includes parts, labor and the EZCC Service Warranty.

Not sure it is the oil cooler line?

An oil cooler lines replacement appointment is a repair appointment. It does not include testing or troubleshooting. If you are not sure the oil cooler line is the problem, book Diagnose Fluid Leak instead. The technician finds the cause and quotes the repair.

Is it the oil cooler line? Signs to watch for

  • Oil drips from the front of the engine bay after the car is parked.
  • Red or brown fluid collects near the radiator, front bumper, or lower splash shield.
  • A rubber cooler hose is wet where it crimps to the metal line.
  • The line is oily where it screws into the oil cooler, radiator, or transmission cooler.
  • You smell hot oil after driving, especially near the front of the car.
  • Smoke comes from oil dripping onto a hot exhaust part.
  • The engine oil level keeps dropping between oil changes.
  • The transmission shifts late, slips, or feels low on fluid after a visible leak.
  • The oil pressure warning comes on after a heavy leak.
  • The underside of the car is coated with oil behind the cooler line path.

Oil cooler line, oil cooler, or gasket?

An oil cooler line leak usually follows the hose or metal tube that carries oil between the engine or transmission and the cooler. The wet spot is often at a crimp, fitting, bend, or rubbed section of line. An oil cooler leak starts at the cooler body, and a gasket leak starts at the sealed surface it belongs to, such as the oil filter housing, valve cover, oil pan, or transmission pan.

What happens if you wait

A leaking oil cooler line does not seal itself. Engine oil loss can lower oil pressure and starve bearings, timing parts, and the oil pump pickup. Transmission fluid loss can cause slipping, delayed shifts, hot fluid, and clutch wear inside the transmission.

What it costs, and how the price is set

Oil Cooler Lines Replacement is priced for your car on the written estimate. It depends on whether the car uses an engine oil cooler line or a transmission oil cooler line, how the line is routed, the fittings used, access around the cooler, and the fluid needed. It includes the oil cooler line, parts and labor, fluid top off if required, and the EZCC Service Warranty.

Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you replace the oil cooler line in my parking garage?

+

Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.

Can I drive with a leaking oil cooler line?

+

A small seep can turn into a larger leak without warning. If the fluid level drops, the engine or transmission can be damaged. If you are not sure where the fluid is coming from, book Diagnose Fluid Leak instead.

What if the oil cooler itself is leaking?

+

Oil Cooler Lines Replacement covers the line or lines on the estimate. If you already know the oil cooler is the leaking part, request Oil Cooler Replacement instead.

How long does an oil cooler lines replacement take?

+

Usually one to three hours. It depends on the year, make, model, engine, whether it is an engine or transmission cooler line, and where the line sits under the car.

Do I need to be there?

+

Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.

Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?

+

No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.

Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.

If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

+

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.

Is an oil cooler line the same as a radiator hose?

+

No. A radiator hose carries coolant. An oil cooler line carries engine oil or transmission fluid to a cooler, often near the radiator or built into it.

Will the fluid be topped off after Oil Cooler Lines Replacement?

+

Yes, fluid is topped off if required by the repair. The fluid type depends on whether the line serves the engine oil cooler or the transmission oil cooler.

Why does an oil cooler line start leaking?

+

Common causes are aged rubber, a leaking crimp, rust on a metal section, a damaged fitting, or a line that has rubbed against another part. Heat and vibration make the leak worse over time.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

+

Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.

How do I pay?

+

EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.

What does the oil cooler line warranty cover?

+

The EZCC Service Warranty on the oil cooler line is 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.
