Not sure it is the battery?
A battery replacement appointment is a repair appointment. It does not include testing or troubleshooting. If you are not sure the battery is the problem, book Car Is Not Starting Diagnostics instead. The technician finds the cause and quotes the repair, whether that is the battery, the alternator or the starter.
Is it the battery? Signs to watch for
- The engine turns over slowly before it catches, especially on a cold morning.
- It starts fine after a drive but struggles after sitting overnight.
- You turn the key or press Start and get one click, or fast clicking, and nothing.
- A battery warning stays on, or random warnings come and go.
- The dash lights come on, but the engine does not crank.
- White or blue-green crust is on the battery posts, or the battery case is swollen.
- Headlights and interior lights are dim before the engine is running.
- The battery is four years old or more, or the car sits for days between drives.
- It needed a jump start, then needed another one a few days later.
- The start/stop system has quit working.
Battery or alternator?
A battery problem shows up when you start the car: it cranks slowly or just clicks, and a jump start gets it going. An alternator problem shows up while driving: the battery warning stays on with the engine running, the lights dim at idle, and the car dies again soon after a jump because the battery is not being charged. A bad alternator will also drain a brand-new battery in a few days.
What happens if you wait
A weak battery does not recover. It usually quits on the first cold morning, after the car sits over a weekend, or after a dome light is left on. Each time it goes flat and gets jumped, it loses more capacity, and the alternator runs harder trying to bring it back. On newer cars, a low battery also sets electrical fault codes and can switch off start/stop and other features. Replacing it on your schedule means no tow and no lost morning.

What it costs, and how the price is set
Car Battery Replacement is priced for your car on the written estimate. Every option includes the 12V battery, parts and labor, cleaning the terminals, the BMS reset where your car requires it, and the EZCC Service Warranty.
Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace the battery in my parking garage?
+
Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.
What if my alternator or starter is causing the problem?
+
A no-start symptom can be caused by a weak battery, alternator, starter, connection issue or another fault. The battery replacement service does not include diagnosing an unknown problem. Please request Car Is Not Starting Diagnostics instead if the cause is uncertain.
How long does a battery replacement take?
+
Usually about an hour. It takes longer on vehicles that keep the battery under a seat, in the trunk or behind a wheel-well liner, and on those that need a Battery Management System reset after the swap.
Do I need to be there?
+
Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.
Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?
+
No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.
Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.
If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
+
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.
Will my radio or settings reset?
+
Some electronic settings may reset while the battery is disconnected, including the radio, clock, seat memory or window memory. A radio security code may be needed if your vehicle uses one. If the car requires it, the service includes the BMS reset.
Which battery option should I pick?
+
Pro-Power Plus is standard OE cranking power and fits most cars. Pro-Power Ultra adds cold cranking amps. Pro-Power AGM is for vehicles with stop/start technology; the Main + Aux version is for vehicles with a second, auxiliary battery. If you are not sure, give EZ Car Clinic the year, make, and model, and the estimate names the right option.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
+
Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.
How do I pay?
+
EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.
What does the battery warranty cover?
+
Depending on the battery option, the EZCC Service Warranty is 12 months/12,000 miles, 18 months/18,000 miles, 24 months/24,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.
