EZCC Service Warranty on parts and labor
Yes, we replace brake calipers where the car is parked
The technician brings the brake caliper to your home or office and installs it. They complete the caliper replacement at your location and do a complimentary multipoint visual inspection. The price includes parts, labor and the EZCC Service Warranty.
Not sure it is the brake caliper?
A brake caliper replacement appointment is a repair appointment. It does not include testing or troubleshooting. If you are not sure the brake caliper is the problem, book Diagnose Brake System instead. The technician finds the cause and quotes the repair.
Is it the brake caliper? Signs to watch for
- The car pulls to a side when you brake.
- A wheel is much hotter than the others after driving.
- You smell hot brakes or burning near a wheel.
- The car feels like the brake is dragging after you let off the pedal.
- Brake dust builds up on a wheel more than the others.
- The brake pedal feels soft after a fluid leak near a wheel.
- You see brake fluid on the inside of a wheel or tire.
- A brake pad is wearing much faster than the pad on the other side.
- A grinding noise comes from a corner because the caliper is stuck.
- The car shakes or tugs when the stuck caliper grabs the rotor.
Brake caliper, brake pads or brake hose?
A brake caliper squeezes the pads against the rotor. When it sticks, the wheel can drag, run hot, pull the car, and wear a pad faster. Worn pads usually make noise as the friction material gets low. A damaged brake hose can also hold pressure at a wheel and feel like a stuck caliper, so if you are not sure, book Diagnose Brake System instead.
What happens if you wait
A stuck brake caliper keeps heat in the pads and rotor. That can warp the rotor, wear the pads unevenly, and make the car pull when braking. A leaking caliper can let air into the brake hydraulic system and lower the brake fluid level, which can make the pedal feel soft or sink farther than normal.

What it costs, and how the price is set
Brake Caliper Replacement is priced for your car on the written estimate. The price depends on your year, make, model, which corner is being repaired, and the brake caliper your car uses. It includes the brake caliper on the estimate, parts and labor, a complimentary multipoint visual inspection, and the EZCC 12-Month / 12,000-Mile Service Warranty.
Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car and the option, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace the brake caliper in my parking garage?
+
Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.
Do I need brake pads and rotors with a brake caliper?
+
Sometimes a stuck brake caliper overheats the pads and rotor at that wheel. If you want Brake Pads and Rotors Replacement done at the same visit, add it to your request so it is on the approved estimate. Work that is not on the estimate is quoted for a later visit.
Can I drive with a stuck brake caliper?
+
Driving with a stuck brake caliper can overheat the brake pads and rotor at that wheel. It can also make the car pull and wear the brake parts unevenly.
How long does a brake caliper replacement take?
+
Usually one to three hours. It depends on the year, make and model, which corner is being replaced, rust on the caliper bolts, and whether the brake hose and bleeder screw come apart cleanly.
Do I need to be there?
+
Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.
Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?
+
No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.
Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.
If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
+
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.
Can you replace a single brake caliper?
+
Yes, when the written estimate is for that wheel position. If you want multiple brake calipers replaced, add each position to your request so the parts are quoted on the same estimate.
Why is a wheel hot after driving?
+
A brake caliper can stick and keep the pad pressed against the rotor after you release the pedal. That makes the wheel hot and can cause a burning brake smell.
Will the brakes be bled after the brake caliper is replaced?
+
A brake caliper opens the hydraulic brake system, so air must be removed from that caliper circuit during the repair. A full Brake Fluid Flush/Bleed is a separate service and must be on the approved estimate.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
+
Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.
How do I pay?
+
EZ Car Clinic may collect a deposit online when you approve the estimate. The balance can be paid online, by card in person, or in cash when the work is done.
What does the brake caliper warranty cover?
+
The EZCC Service Warranty on the brake caliper is 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage conditions and exclusions are explained in the full service warranty terms.
