- The fan does not run on any speed.

Blower motor, resistor or AC problem?
The blower motor is the fan that pushes air through the vents. When the motor fails, the heat, AC and defrost can all be set correctly, but the air does not move. A blower resistor or control module problem often leaves the fan working on some speeds but not others. An AC refrigerant or compressor problem is different: the fan still blows, but the air is not cold.
What happens if you wait
A weak blower motor usually gets noisier or more intermittent before it quits. Once it stops, the heater and AC cannot move air through the vents, and the defroster cannot clear the windshield well. A dragging motor can also pull too much current and stress the fuse, wiring, resistor or control module.

It includes the blower motor, parts and labor, the complimentary multipoint visual inspection, and the EZCC Service Warranty.
Before anything is scheduled, you get a written estimate for your car, and you approve it online. The appointment is confirmed only when the estimate is approved, so the price is set before the technician comes to you. It changes only if you approve a change on site. A deposit may be collected online when you approve; the balance is due when the work is done, online, by card in person, or in cash.

Can you replace the blower motor in my parking garage?

Usually, yes. EZ Car Clinic needs a parking spot for the service van close to your car. If the garage belongs to a building or HOA, confirm that the work is allowed before you book.
Is it the blower motor or the blower resistor?

A bad blower resistor or control module often leaves the fan working on only some speeds. A bad blower motor can stop all speeds, run only at times, or make a squeal, rumble or scraping sound. If you are not sure, book Diagnose / Troubleshoot instead.
Can you replace the blower motor under the dashboard?

Yes. Many blower motors sit behind the glove box or under the passenger side of the dash. The technician removes the access panels needed for that vehicle and installs the new blower motor.
How long does an AC/Heater Blower Motor Replacement take?

Usually one to three hours. It depends on the year, make and model, and on whether the blower motor is behind the glove box, under the dash, or deeper in the HVAC case.
Do I need to be there?

Yes. Someone must be there to hand over the key and approve any change to the estimate. They do not need to stand by the car, but they are welcome to.
Are there any additional fees for weekend or same-day service?

No, we don't charge extra for weekend or same-day appointments. If our schedule allows, we're happy to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible at no extra charge.
Most services carry an on-site service fee to cover technician dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is clearly listed on your estimate.
If additional work is needed during your appointment, your technician will discuss it with you and provide an updated estimate for your approval before performing any additional services.
Can I cancel or reschedule?

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment; changes made within 48 hours are subject to a late-change fee under the booking policy.
Why is there no air coming from my vents?

The blower motor is the fan that moves air through the vents. If it is not running, the heat, AC and defrost may be selected, but the air will not move.
Will this fix my AC not blowing cold?

Only if the problem is that the fan is not moving air. If air comes from the vents but it is warm, the cause may be refrigerant, compressor, blend door or control related, and a diagnostic appointment is the better starting point.
Can a cabin air filter cause weak airflow?

Yes. A clogged cabin air filter can make airflow weak, but the blower motor can usually still be heard running. If the fan is silent, noisy, or intermittent, the blower motor is more likely.
Can I get a same-day appointment?

Same-day appointments may be available when the schedule permits, but they are not guaranteed. EZ Car Clinic is an advance-booking service, not an emergency roadside or towing provider. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve the estimate.
